Ray's funeral service took place at the Forest of Dean Crematorium on Tuesday19th March with Revd. Mike Barnsley officiating. On entry to the crematorium chapel, a recording of ‘There’s a Land Between Two Rivers’ by the Forest of Dean Male Voice Choir was played. The hymns were ‘The day Thou gavest, Lord is ended’ and ‘How great Thou art.’ The Eulogy was given and the Reading was Psalm 23. The recessional music was ‘After all these years’ as recorded by Jethro.

The funeral arrangements were carried out by Ernest Heal & Sons, 5 South Road, Broadwell, Gloucestershire, who are collecting donations for the Royal British Legion and Cheltenham Hospital Oncology Unit which would be sincerely appreciated.
